1. The Covid Emergency. The lab-engineered SARS-CoV2 virus was first announced to the world in December 2019, though it had been patented by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in 2002. Some 1,675 scientists employed by U.S. public health agencies, including Drs Fauci and Collins, received about $300 million in royalty payments on such patents between 2010 and 2020, according to Adam Andrzejewski's Open the Books:
Like all coronaviruses and influenza, SARS-CoV2, or covid as it became known, quickly spread around the world, abetted by unrestricted international airline flights from the virus epicenter in Wuhan China. WHO certified a global pandemic in March 2020, after the virus had spread to 114 countries. As images of China's hazmat-suited military quarantine of an entire city of several million people flooded the television airwaves, Western leaders hastened to emulate such practices. U.S. Governors imposed mass house-arrests ('lockdowns'), banned public meetings including church services, cancelled in-person school classes, and forced restaurants and bars to close. These policies damaged economic welfare and mental health without affecting the spread of infection.
Public health agencies from the top down exaggerated the numbers of covid deaths by reporting covid as the cause of death in every case in which it was present, regardless of other fatal conditions such as cancer or heart disease. Media retailed these inflated numbers to the public with daily headlines. All of these policies together implanted a sense of emergency, justifying restrictions and preferential practices that in normal times officials would have hesitated to adopt.
2. Mental Lockdown. President Trump's talent for frank talk and direct engagement with a live audience enabled him to bypass the media. His campaign rallies even on short notice at inconvenient places like airports attracted tens of thousands of people. Clearly his message in these public venues resonated with large numbers of voters, including working people and ethnic groups benefiting from increased employment and income. Amid the widening arc of pandemic panic, public health authorities and media pundits characterized these rallies as 'super-spreader events'. The traditional stump speech was thus rendered risky to public health, effectively limiting political communication, the vote for Trump, and the public visibility of enthusiasm for him. State and local officials saw no public health risk, however, in the fiery riots that erupted in more than 40 cities, starting in June and continuing through Election Day in November.
The spectacle of burning cities, plus the deadly invisible virus, put public panic on steroids, inducing passive acceptance of extreme policies that would have been unthinkable absent a dire emergency. Less visibly, State Governors vastly expanded the purported electorate by removing restrictions on mail-in balloting, voter identification, and ballot trafficking. Any objections to these open invitations to election fraud were shouted down with cries of 'voter suppression', as if members of certain ethnic groups were unable to sign their names or take selfie pictures. While the Constitution grants election rule-making only to State Legislatures, legislators were asleep at the switch while these changes were made. The emergency justified it all.
3. Universal Criminalization. The U.S. non-election of 2020 crystallized a political transformation already underway throughout the course of this timeline. The advent of mass surveillance at the beginning of the 21st century brought with it an era of universal criminalization, of watching, tracking, following, and recording every detail of daily life. As 'the Internet of things' took hold, propelled by the ersatz empowerment of voice-commands, always-on electronic devices snoop on conversations in the (former) privacy of one's own home. Edward Snowden wondered, half-jokingly, whether his refrigerator was spying on him to record for some unseen authority whether he was drinking orange juice directly from the container. Mobile phones broadcast their locations even when turned off, which users have verified by downloading their GPS-location records from Google. Google uses the location data to provide real-time traffic advisories, among other things. Apple and other phone-makers started producing sealed-battery models only, to prevent users from removing batteries to ensure their phones would really be off. Medical records, shopping records, bank transactions, travel records, phone conversations, emails, social media and website browsing, and more - it's all there, obligingly provided by the FAGMA and telephone data aggregators to any government snoops who demand it.
This makes the entire citizenry an enemy of the state. It institutionalizes an adversary relationship between citizens and the government that supposedly represents them. The 'consent of the governed', the intentional restrictions on state power enacted by the American Founders in the Constitution, the vesting of ultimate control in the people, the civic-textbook, townhall-meeting model of democracy -- all this is nullified by the universal criminalization embodied in total surveillance. China's social-credit system of allocating transport and shopping 'privileges' according to officially approved scorekeeping horrifies Western observers, yet American companies are frantically adopting similar principles of control, in the guise of 'community standards' and 'fact-checking' censorship, and at the corporate level, in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards that must be followed in order to obtain financing. The U.S. non-election of 2020 was thus not only an act of revenge against the hated catalyst of the 2016 populist revolt; it also demonstrated clearly that the globalist / media / spook / tech cabal could direct the outcome of a presidential election, and install a demented crook in the White House.
4. Make-Believe. The cabal exerts control through make-believe -- reification:
It compels agreement on manifestly absurd notions, such as sexual fluidity and male pregnancy, enforcing compliance through threatened or actual loss of jobs, professional licensure, research grants, social esteem, freedom of speech, or all of the above. Even best-selling authors like J K Rowling have been censored for acknowledging the difference between men and women. In biological fact, sex is determined early in the course of pregnancy, by the presence of XX or XY chromosomes in every cell of the infant's body. It cannot be changed, even by cosmetic surgery. And yet agencies of the U.S. Federal Government, including the military, enforce terms of address, speech, and written communications that deny this fundamental reality. Companies and State and local governments dependent on Federal funding are forced to adopt the same ridiculous terms. And by an even further extension of absurd reification, children may be subjected to genital mutilation surgery without their parents' consent, to support the belief that sex can be altered. The message is 'We can make you pretend to believe any absurdity, and if you don't signal your fealty to that belief, your career is over.' Or as Roseanne Barr put it less politely, 'They want to rub their butts in our face on Main Street'. Forcing the most absurd beliefs down everyone's throat and into public humiliation has become a prime method of governance. And so the ground was well-prepared for an electoral miscount of epic proportions, despite enthusiastic reception of the President's message everywhere, versus a candidate who, as was said of a lackluster fighter, 'couldn't draw flies to a dump'.
5. Cloud Computing. Tech oligarchs and their staff felt their own version of the 'higher calling'. Upset by the 2016 election of Trump, many Google executives and staff expressed their desire to 'do something' so that this result would not be repeated in 2020. They knew that search-rankings alone could sway 10 percent (or more) of the vote. Psychologist Robert Epstein estimated from experiments that search-rankings could switch 15 million votes. Sergey Brin himself, whose Google-founding motto was 'Do no evil', considered Trump voters 'extremists'. He therefore felt duty-bound to remove sites like Breitbart from search rankings. In one day, Web traffic through Google to Breitbart plummeted to nearly zero, a result achievable only by direct manipulation of search results. Google down-ranked other sites favoring Trump, while up-ranking those favoring Biden. There is no record of anyone at Google feeling the slightest hesitancy about exercising partisan political influence, or making what amounted to huge in-kind donations to one side in a presidential election.
For his part, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO and top shareholder of Facebook, felt the call to give $350 to $400 million to election officials in urban Democrat districts, instructing them to maximize turnout by a variety of means, including collection of mail-in and absentee ballots. This extraordinary unprecedented privatization of the electoral process, run and staffed by partisans dedicated to removing Donald Trump from office, produced historically improbable and statistically impossible results. Zuckerberg had been persuaded by civil rights groups that threatened Facebook with loss of ad revenue due to perceptions of racism. This threat was reinforced by racially charged riots, attacks on individuals and public buildings, looting, and arson in more than 40 American cities with little or no police response. Some of the rioters obtained additional employment delivering ballots to drop-boxes. Ballot-trafficking for pay is illegal in all 50 States. An election-integrity organization called TrueTheVote found that more than 400,000 illegal ballots delivered by paid 'mules' (carriers) to drop-boxes in key States changed the 2020 vote-totals enough to determine the ourcome.
Information systems of virtually unlimited scope, once built, were inevitably used to develop plausible negative stories about political opponents, for algorithm-directed psychological operations designed to inflame inter-group hatred, in vote-counting sub-systems expressly designed to surreptitiously reverse precinct-level vote totals, and in massively expanding the electorate with fictitious, dead, mentally incompetent, or non-resident persons. Through a variety of means, then, ranging from cybernetic manipulation to physical intimidation, illegal and unconstitutional election-law changes, millions of pre-printed mail-in ballots delivered across State lines in the dead of night, hundreds of thousands of ballots illegally trafficked for pay, premature media announcements of results, and extensions of deadlines for casting and counting votes, following nonstop investigations of spurious claims of Russian collusion, a president conspicuously lacking 'the consent of the governed' was installed, under military occupation of Washington DC.
Having deprived itself of legal support, and having filled the forms of constitutional governance with empty verbiage, the GMST cabal has no governance options but coercion, censorship, and psy-ops. Protestors invited into the Capitol by police on January 6 have been jailed without charge or trial for more than a year, and one unarmed protestor, Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt, was murdered by Capitol police officer Michael Byrd.
Like the FBI's unpunished deceptive FISA applications, these unpunished crimes serve as a warning and example to potential opponents. Federal officials equating 'Trump supporters' with 'domestic terrorists' send a clear signal that they may use force against either category of offender. Censorship in the United States operates through a public-private partnership whereby the tech platforms that are the new 'public square' remove or down-rank posts the Federal Government doesn't like. Censors have a tough job, as new platforms like Substack, Gab, Brighteon, and many others are springing up in response to the demand for uncensored free expression. Twitter under new ownership may see more varied content, and even Facebook and YouTube harbor numerous dissident posts and videos. Psy-ops, the heart of the spook-media subset of the GMST cabal, may be its best shot at distracting the populace with an endless series of crises.
This brings us to the raison d'etre of this timeline, to trace the precedents of our current situation, and to see recent history not as 'one damned thing after another', but rather as a logical sequence motivated by power, money, and sex, not necessarily in that order. And so we proceed -- In Search of Common Sense.
