A New Method of Understanding the Unprecedented
Our knowledge of significant events comes to us in reverse order to their actual occurrence. First something unexpected bursts upon the scene -- a war, a political upset, a plague, a terror attack, an economic collapse. Then we learn a little background information. The belligerent parties were already at each others' throats, the economy had been teetering on the edge of collapse for years, sleeper cells had been lying in wait undetected. Inconvenient facts emerge, implicating people responsible for preventing the very calamity that occurred. Trivial details 'hiding in plain sight' take on new salience. Records of cash transactions, secret communications, confidential meetings, travel documents are revealed. Lawsuits, legislative hearings, and FOIA requests extract more information in mind-numbing detail. Recognition-seekers boast about their roles. Conspirators have a falling-out, and blab. Finally a pattern falls into place, or if not a fully coherent pattern, at least a perspective that suggests where to look for answers.
Embarrassing, hypocritical, or illegal activities are rarely announced as such. Instead they are routinely concealed or obfuscated. Officials rely on the public's short attention span, throwing up distractions and smokescreens to evade accountability. In the past ten to fifteen years, the science of psychological operations -- 'psy-ops' in spook lingo -- has moved from offshore to the U.S. homeland. 'Hot-button' issues known to evoke predictable, divisive responses are distributed through a variety of media whenever officials seek to divert attention from what they are doing at the moment. We filter those distractions out to arrive at a true account.
Anyone who doubts the reality of conspiracies may be assured that conspirators'
recognition-seeking delivers a major source of revelations for our timeline: They boast about their misdeeds. Joe Biden, for example, congratulated himself profusely on his own savoir-faire, before a worshipful audience at the Council on Foreign Relations, in executing a billion-dollar bribe of Ukraine President Poroshenko. The kleptocrat dutifully complied with then Vice-President Biden's wishes, after checking that President Obama's wishes were the same, and promptly fired Viktor Shokin, the prosecutor investigating Biden's son Hunter.
Renmin University Economics Professor Di Dongsheng spoke gleefully on Chinese TV about his having used people 'at the top of America's core inner circle of power and influence' to 'fix' problems with the U.S. Administration.
Not to be outdone, Molly Ball wrote proudly in Time magazine, Feb 4, 2021, 'There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans' -- an agreement between the AFL-CIO and the Chamber of Commerce to endorse prolonging the 2020 vote-count.
Former CIA Acting Director John McLaughlin was the first alumnus of the Deep State to acknowledge its existence, while also invoking Divine endorsement for a 'higher calling' superseding the Constitution.
Conspirators sometimes slip-up and inadvertently disclose secrets potentially damaging to themselves, as when Director of National Intelligence Clapper was overheard by a staff member to instruct Washington Post writer David Ignatius to 'take the kill shot', meaning publish allegations of collusion between Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Kislyak.
Conspiracies are rarely executed neatly. Activities that are illegal, unconstitutional, or contrary to public mores must always be described in ambiguous terms, hedged with 'plausible deniability'. With their content thus a matter of guesswork, misunderstandings and mistakes are inevitable. Traditionally, common cultural understandings, class origins, and educational experiences filled in the gaps of what was necessarily left unsaid. The advent of diversity in personnel selection requires spelling things out in impolitic detail, leading to revelations that would not have occurred in 'old-boy' networks.
Some activities naturally lend themselves to obscurity because they lack a news 'peg' or context, or are sufficiently remote to escape general attention. Few Americans could locate Ukraine on a map before 2018, then suddenly it became salient with a presidential phone call to its newly elected leader. But U.S. politicians of both parties had found in Ukraine a gold mine of corruption for at least a decade before then. Similarly, few people knew or cared about an obscure bio-research lab in Wuhan China until it emerged as the epicenter of a pandemic in January 2020. Yet a little-known epidemiologist at the U.S. National Institutes of Health, Dr Fauci, had sought to patent a spike protein virus vaccine in 2000 (patent was denied for lack of efficacy). And the same Fauci had routed tax funds clandestinely, through a cutout called Eco-Health Alliance, to bio-weapons research at the Wuhan lab ever since such research had been banned domestically. Public records of funding sources, patent records, papers published in science and medical journals, email and other on-line communications, grant applications, and similar materials enable us to piece together what actually happened.
It was also in the early years of the 21st century that voting machines developed to enable Hugo Chavez to circumvent electoral challenges in Venezuela made their way to the United States. Monitoring true votes in real time, they adjust the count just enough to reverse the outcome, but undetectably unless forensically investigated. Forensic analyses of the data streams into and out of the Dominion machines during the 2020 election showed such count-adjustments had been done. This fraudulent technique was new to almost everyone in 2020, but it had been 20 years in the making.
This timeline simply rearranges the transactions, communications, and so on in the actual order they occurred. It shows the actual sequence of actions taken by specific individuals (not buildings like 'the White House' or 'the Kremlin') on specific dates. Later revelations supplying details about earlier events go with the earlier events.
Sources include news articles, court filings and judgments, discovery documents, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, intercepted emails, official reports, videos, social-media posts, and others, many of which were concealed when they occurred. Browsing the timeline gives a feeling for the chaos of bribery, extortion, threats, influence-trading, special-interest legislation and regulation, ideological and information warfare, career advancement, and similar endeavors swirling around at a given time. But patterns and purposes are clarified by sequential arrangement. Shocking events that seem to come out of nowhere turn out to have an internal logic of prior relationships and precursor actions undertaken years earlier. Thus Russian acquisition of the Canadian company Uranium One, a secret U.S. alliance with a terrorist organization, the explosion of vague 'about' queries to the NSA database concerning political opponents, and an elaborate investigation into a presidential candidate's alleged collusion with Russia, when arranged in sequence, tell a different story from the standard chaotic chronology.
