It Happened Last Month
A summary of what the American people voted for, and against
December 10, 2024
On November 5, 2024, the American people called on Donald Trump and his team to change the fundamental behavior of the U.S. Federal Government. The extent of this change will be seen after Trump’s Inauguration as President on January 20, 2025. Already those in Government and media who conducted guerrilla lawfare against his first Administration and his re-election in 2020 still cannot accept the reality of what happened. In their denials they pretend the election didn’t happen, and they can go on with business-as-usual, such as endless wars, psy-ops on the domestic populace, mad experiments with the human genome, importation of violent criminals and drug/sex traffickers, all-of-government suppression of free speech, and similar programs of the soon-to-be-former regime. The American people voted to end the headlong rush toward tyranny that would have otherwise been their fate.
Tokyo lawyer Stephen Givens has written a clear summary of what happened last month in America and why. For those whose immersion in the talking-points media (TPM) confounded their expectations, or anyone seeking a coherent, common-sense understanding of this epochal event, Givens’ essay provides it:

I began following the US election results on X (former Twitter) and Fox News in the morning Tokyo time. The early results looked promising. But the last election four years ago was a warning against premature celebration. In 2020 also, the early returns for Trump promised victory. But then the polling stations in Democrat Party-controlled voting districts in key swing states shut down at midnight without announcing a victor. In the morning the country was informed that a mysterious surge of votes in the late hours had pushed Biden over the top by the narrowest of margins.
By lunchtime Tokyo time it became clear that it was safe to celebrate. The announcers on the major Democrat-supporting networks CNN, MSNBC, CBS and ABC appeared to be in a state of shock. Trump was doing better than he had in 2020 across all regions and demographics, and Harris was performing worse than Biden had four years ago. The margin of victory would be too large to overcome with mysterious votes delivered in the middle of the night. In the end all seven swing states went to Trump. Trump won both the popular vote and the electoral vote.
Surprising Sources of Pro-Trump Support
The support for Trump came from surprising places. In 2020 Trump lost Starr County Texas, near the Mexican border, 96% of the population of which is Hispanic, by 60 points, but this time won by 16. In 2020 he lost Dearborn, Michigan, a heavily Muslim community, to Biden 88%-11%, but beat Harris 43%-36% in 2024 (Socialist candidate Jill Stein took the rest). In Michigan Latinos voted for Trump 60%-35%. In 2024 men aged 18-29 voted for Trump by a margin of +13%, compared to a negative margin of -1% in 2020.
The constituencies that the Democrat Party has confidently depended on for automatic support did not follow the script. The formerly loyal Democrat constituencies, like much of the rest of “normal” middle America, rebelled against the long catalog of fictions the Democrat-controlled administration and its media outlets had forced upon the country for the past four years.
The Democrat Party’s Approved Fictions
At the top of the list of fictions was that Biden was legitimately elected in 2020, and that anyone who doubted the result was treasonous “election denier” deserving to be canceled and deplatformed. Biden mysteriously won 81 million votes in 2020. In 2024 Harris won 66 million votes, roughly the same number as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in the three elections preceding 2020. Where did Biden’s aberrant extra 15 million votes in 2020 come from? Perhaps under the new Trump administration we shall find out. During the Biden administration anyone who dared to ask was subject to intimidation and sanctions.
The TV networks and newspapers helped coordinate the necessary fictions to win the election for the Democrat party. We were told Joe Biden was perfectly compos mentis until he suddenly sank from sight. The media compliantly presented Kamala Harris to the electorate through speeches she recited like a robot off a teleprompter. Press conferences, debates and live interviews that might require her to think on her feet were avoided without fuss or complaint from the media. When Harris flubbed a response in a recorded TV interview, CBS helpfully spliced in a response to a different question. Until the very end the New York Times and Washington Post reported that the election was “neck and neck”. A few days before the election the Economist magazine told its readers to expect a Kamala landslide.
“The border is secure.” This turned out to be a fiction that badly back-fired. Though the networks and newspapers suppressed images of thousands of Third World immigrants flooding across the Texas border, citizens on the ground used their iPhones to take videos that they uploaded to X, TikTok and other social media platforms. The legal Hispanic citizens living near the Texas border had no interest in competing for jobs with thousands of new arrivals. They voted for Trump.
“Diversity makes us stronger.” This inspiring fiction was intended to appeal to minority client constituencies of the Democrat Party. But it turned out that dispensing quotas and special preferences to minorities does not guarantee their grateful vote in return. Kamala Harris’ unmistakable emptiness and mediocrity made it clear to everyone, including the minorities who were supposed to vote for her, that she was selected based solely on her gender and race. American blacks were offended when the daughter of a Jamaican professor and Indian physician used a fake American black accent to appeal for their votes as fellow victims.
“Gender is fluid, men can bear children.” This fiction was strongly resisted by much of the electorate, and black and Hispanic men in particular. The Democrat Party’s attempt to normalize transgender surgery for children, transgender individuals placed in prominent positions in the administration and the military, the teaching of transgender ideology in public schools, and giving biological men the right to compete in sports against girls and use the girls bathroom met with an unexpected wall of resistance from all racial and ethnic groups.
“Strong men are feminists” was a fiction the Harris campaign aggressively promoted in a series of video advertisements featuring “manly” men “strong enough” to vote for a woman or support abortion rights. Unfortunately, the actors appearing in the ads struck most male viewers as lacking in male hormones. Harris’ selection of Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota who mandated that free tampons be made available in male public restrooms, to appeal to male voters was another blunder. For a photo opportunity his handlers dressed Walz in hunting clothes and handed him a shotgun, which he proceeded to demonstrate he had no idea how to use. The Harris campaign turned off large numbers of men, including black and Hispanic men, by trying to scold men into voting for Harris.
“No one is above the law”. The party-controlled media used this to justify the Democrat Party’s selective prosecution of their enemies, starting with Trump himself. Following his defeat in 2020, Democrat federal and state prosecutors indicted Trump on a combined total of 116 criminal counts based on various creative legal theories. Many of the criminal indictments were based on Trump’s legal challenges to the result of the 2020 election. Trump’s lawyers were also criminally charged for challenging the 2020 election. 1,358 people who entered the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021 to protest the outcome of the 2020 election were criminally indicted and given long prison sentences.
Meanwhile, Biden’s crimes were conveniently ignored. Joe Biden received millions of dollars from Chinese, Ukrainian and other foreign sources while he was Vice President in exchange for his political influence, through complicated backdoor payments engineered by his son Hunter and other family members. The Democrat-controlled Department of Justice made no effort to investigate or prosecute these crimes. Yet the media assured us, “No one is above the law.”
The list of fictions no one was allowed to challenge or question goes on:
“Trump colluded with Russia”.
“Trump said Nazis were ‘very fine people’.”
“Climate change is an existential crisis requiring massive federal spending.”
“The COVID vaccine is safe and effective.”
“Massive federal spending will tame inflation.”
“America is systemically racist.”
And finally, “Trump is a threat to our democracy.” This fiction was particularly galling coming from a Democrat-media complex that was itself guilty of election rigging, politically motivated criminal prosecutions of its political enemies and stamping out dissent against its officially approved fictions as “misinformation”.
The American People Said No
A crucial factor in exposing the fictions was Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter. Musk dismantled the algorithms that had systematically suppressed dissenting voices and data that was contrary to the officially approved narrative. Renamed “X”, it became a vital primary source of news and ideas that challenged the fictions spread by the New York Times and Washington Post. On X, it became acceptable to dissent. Without Elon Musk Trump’s victory would have been unlikely.
The American people are by nature practical, optimistic and hard working. They do not believe in socialism. They agree with Martin Luther King that people should be judged on their character and merit, not their gender or race. They believe that everyone should be free to express their opinions without fear.
The Democrat political media complex concocted a web of fictions that were contrary to America’s fundamental values. And they nearly succeeded. If Harris had won, America would have taken a further large step toward a Soviet-style single party state. The American people said No.
