For all his many virtues, Donald Trump has never been keen on admitting error. Nobody is. Politicians especially. Maybe they’re afraid it undermines their legitimacy, or it will disappoint those who regard them as saviors, who expect them to be infallible. But looking at it through the lens of common-sense — which is what we do here — we admire people all the more when they own up to their mistakes. In business, one of the most reliable indicators of good management appears in annual reports that forswear the usual obfuscation to say flat-out ‘We goofed. We failed to anticipate something, and our profits took a hit. We’ll try to do better.’ But political decisions carry a complex institutional legacy, which makes them extremely difficult to turn around. Yet that is what President Trump is now (September 1, 2025) doing, beginning to reverse the biggest failure of his first term, the ill-fated Warp Speed covid-vax initiative.
Here’s what Trump posted on Truth Social:
‘It is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various Covid Drugs. Many people think they are a miracle that saved Millions of lives. Others disagree!’
Open-minded, willing to consider the possibility that these drugs don’t do what their suppliers claimed, and continue to claim.
‘With CDC being ripped apart over this question, I want the answer, and I want it NOW. I have been shown information from Pfizer, and others, that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public. Why not???’
Disclosing their information to the public means, of course, enduring rigorous review by HHS Secretary Kennedy and by scientists who have not been paid off to regurgitate drug-makers’ preordained conclusions. He relied on Pfizer data, which excluded evidence of harm that Pfizer knew about and concealed.
‘They show me GREAT numbers and results, but they don’t seem to be showing them to many others. I want them to show them NOW, to CDC and the public, and clear up this MESS, one way or the other!!!’
Skepticism that would have been warranted in 2020, acknowledging reasonable doubt about the safety and efficacy of mRNA injections.
‘I hope OPERATION WARP SPEED was as “BRILLIANT” as many say it was. If not, we all want to know about it, and why??? Thank you for your attention to this very important matter! President DJT’
Giving himself and others whose advice he naively trusted the benefit of the doubt, but prepared to accept that he might have been wrong. As Jeff Childers summarizes it:
‘Trump’s Truth wasn’t just venting or blame-dodging; it was political judo. By demanding immediately Pfizer release its “extraordinary” internal data, he boxed them in. If they produce the data, Kennedy’s team will dissect it. If they don’t, Trump will say, “See, they’re hiding something.” If Pfizer denies that it ever gave Trump secret data, then they open up the court of public opinion, and the trial begins.
Meanwhile, all of it allows for the possibility that Trump might’ve been tricked. He’s tilting in Kennedy’s direction.’
To appreciate the enormity of this turnaround, let’s review a few of Trump’s previous statements on the covid-vax, all of them, amazingly, made after he had been removed from office by those who had engineered the covid pandemic largely (though not exclusively) for that purpose:
Dec 11, 2020: 'It will save millions of lives, and soon end the pandemic once and for all. These vaccines are also very safe.'
Utter fantasy on all counts.
Dec 17, 2020: 'The Vaccine and the Vaccine rollout are getting the best of reviews. Moving along really well. Get those shots everyone!'
False consensus contrived by Government-directed censorship, as Alex Berenson has documented in his lawsuit Berenson v Biden.
Feb 28, 2021: 'I hope everyone remembers when they're getting the COVID-19 Vaccine, that if I wasn’t President, you wouldn’t be getting that beautiful 'shot' for 5 years, at best, and probably wouldn't be going getting it at all. I hope everyone remembers!'
Yes, everyone remembers, but not with gratitude. Three months into the pandemic, still taking credit for the disaster that others foresaw.
March 9, 2021: 'It [the covid-vax] works incredibly well. 95%, maybe even more than that...and it is really saving our country and it is saving frankly the world.'
The President of the United States swallowed whole the garbage-data presented to him by Pfizer, based on a sample of nine (9) people; and as ex-President, still clung to the savior complex that he had embraced while in office.
April 29, 2021: 'I guess in a certain way, I’m the father of the vaccine because I was the one that pushed it. To get it done in less than nine months was a miracle.'
Trump was unaware that patents on both the SARS-Cov2 virus and its purported antitdote had been filed many years earlier, and that both Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna had their blockbuster mRNA ‘vaccines’ ready to sell to governments around the world before the pandemic was launched. The only ‘miracle’ was the astonishing susceptibility of the President of the United States — and billions of other people around the world — to a nonsensical narrative of fear and magical deliverance.
August 18, 2021: 'I'm very proud of the vaccine, I've taken it, and you’ve probably taken it. But I'm very proud of it.’
August 21, 2021: ‘I recommend taking the vaccines. I did it, it’s good. Take the vaccines.'
Oct 2, 2021: ‘I got the Pfizer, and I would have been very happy with any of them.’
A hostage of his own policy, Trump admitted taking at least one Pfizer shot, despite growing evidence of its links to cardio-vascular diseases such as blood clotting, vasoconstriction, and myocarditis (heart scarring).
The point of this review is not to embarass President Trump, but to highlight the enormous significance of his turnaround on this vital matter of life and death. Like many other Americans, but with exponentially greater consequences, Trump had staked out a position that was very difficult to stand down from, personally and institutionally. He asked a popular singer, John Rich, why people at his (Trump’s) rallies were booing him whenever he mentioned vaccines (this audio is from a video taken down by YouTube for… you guessed it, ‘violating Community Guidelines’):
’We, the American people’, John Rich told the President, ‘do not trust the people you were forced to trust at the time when this was happening… Here’s why they’re booing you, Mr President. Because every human being out there in that rally, either themselves or they know someone who has been harmed by the vaccine, or has even died from it. Including me. I got members of my own family who were forced to take it, against their will, to keep their job, and now they’ve got all kinds of problems. Big problems, heart problems, lung problems…’
Trump took John Rich’s advice and stopped mentioning the vaccine at his rallies. Re-elected in 2024, he realized that many of his constituents wished he would stop the vaccines altogether. Appointing Robert F Kennedy Jr as Health Secretary took guts, knowing as he must have that a day of reckoning about vaccine harm would arrive. And so it has.
One other factor may have motivated Trump's extraordinary reversal: his own cardio-vascular problems. Unlike President Sisi of Egypt who posed with an invisible syringe,
President Trump probably did in fact take one or more mRNA injections, as he admitted. We don’t know whether the shots caused his cardio-vascular problems. It is well-documented, however, that mRNA-generated spike proteins adhere to epithelial cells lining and normally protecting blood vessels, and also bind to red blood cells (RBCs), causing their agglomeration and clotting. Myocarditis, or heart-scarring, is also well-documented as a consequence of mRNA-generated spike proteins irritating the heart muscle, where even small scars interfere with its electrical conductivity, producing an irregular heartbeat. This weakens the heart’s ability to pump blood, leading to fluid accumulation, and in advanced cases of RBC agglomeration and vasoconstriction, heart attack or stroke. A life-threatening condition concentrates the mind wonderfully.
What if the top executives of Pfizer, Moderna, and global health agencies, and wealthy entrepreneurs knew in advance of the lethal effects of mRNA injections, and promoted them anyway? What if the risk of death by vaccine is much greater than the risk of death by covid? That raises extremely disturbing questions about the motivations of those conducting this medical experiment on humanity. In the odd moral calculus of our times, self-enrichment is the most reassuring motive that can be posited for this behavior. Eugenics, saving the planet, advancing scientific inquiry, and other motives have also been suggested, but these leave us with a sense that these people have no more understanding of their own motives than your everyday school shooter or presidential assassin.
The good news is that President Trump’s turnaround, plus Health Secretary Kennedy’s steadfast re-orientation of the Federal Government’s health mission and priorities — including the removal of corporate drug pushers from the health agencies — clear the way toward the American people’s recovery of their innate common-sense, physical health, and spiritual well-being.
