It's certainly a step in the right direction, but I'm not so sure this isn't just a band aid that doesn't cover the full capabilities of what former State Dept cyber-guy, Mike Benz (@MikeBenzCyber on Twitter), calls the "AI social media censorship death star". He tweeted a video on July 1st explaining how there's a huge censorship industry infrastructure with many 3rd party censorship NGOs already inextricably intertwined in the system which now employ AI "data scraping" to surveil, track, and identify patterns and tweak algorithms to promote official narratives and erect numerous types of speed bumps for any counter-arguments in (near) real time to execute mass censorship protocols in order to shape social perceptions. The beast we face is so much bigger than some government agent sending an e-mail claiming what Joe Blow just tweeted is dangerous misinformation requiring immediate action.
